As a locally-owned, non-medical, in-home care provider in the Colorado Springs and surrounding area, we specialize in companionship, daily household tasks, personal tasks ranging from personal care to accompaniment for errands or appointments, and life enrichment plans.
We place a strong focus on increasing quality of life, by incorporating a customized plan of life-enhancing activities or experiences for each client. Let's work together to design a tailored plan of care that meets your needs, without the worry of having to meet any minimum agency service-hour commitments.
Our goal is to keep our community members safe, happy, and comfortably in their homes, for as long as they wish to remain there. We also provide temporary care, such as respite, post-discharge from rehabilitation and hospitals, supplemental care to aid independent living guidelines, and so much more. We understand that we all have worked hard to make our lives and households comfortable and we want to help keep these chapters in your 'Book of Life' the happiest possible, while remaining in the comfort and security of your own home. Please reach out with any questions, no matter how big or small. We are here to help!
Being the author of your own life story is the truest form of independence. The core of our approach to care is in honoring the wishes of our clients, while enhancing their quality of life. We each should have the opportunity to voice our wishes in directing our own care, while controlling our individual paths to happiness. What does happiness look like for you? Is it traveling, gardening, swimming, cooking, sewing, or teaching? Maybe it's building things, or tinkering with cars or electronics. With some modifications, we can all continue to enjoy the things that make our hearts full and give us a sense of accomplishment or excitement, even if changes in our bodies or minds require us to alter our approach. Let's talk about the options that can make these chapters your happiest!
Our delivery of care philosophy is modeled after the very personal experiences of caring for our own parents, grandparents, and other loved ones. The services we offer are designed to provide peace of mind and allow for as much independent living as possible. This enables those with specific needs to remain in their homes and receive customizable, non-medical help. This type of assistance may include but is not limited to: Meal preparation, Companionship, assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as dressing, bathing and eating, mobility assistance, medication reminders, household chores assistance, and transportation to appointments and errands, etc.
Home care is a great long-term or temporary solution for those wishing to age in place, the chronically ill, those recovering from surgery, injury or illness, or who may have a disability or other factors causing them to need a bit of additional assistance around the house.
There isn't one! That is the beauty of our customizable service offerings!
Many agencies require minimum hours per week and minimum hours per visit thresholds to be met, resulting in charges for more care hours than a client wants or needs. We do not subscribe to this way of thinking. Care shouldn't be cost-prohibitive!
We are prepared to deliver you tailored care plans ranging from stand-by assistance, to respite visits, to 24/7 care, to one-hour drop-in visits, and anything in between.
If you are not quite ready for routine care, ask about our Sentinel Packages that also include web-portal access to view visit reports regarding general well-being, changes in mobility or condition, behavioral or mood changes, concerns expressed by client, household condition (cleanliness, maintenance or security concerns, etc.). These are a perfect fit for those who live remotely from their loved ones, but want the assurance that they are remaining safe and healthy at home.
Advanced Sentinel Package options may also include grocery/supply checks, management of appts, scheduling of outside services, and so much more. We will work with you to design a plan perfectly suited to you and your family.
We are ready to answer any questions you may have, sit down with you for a no-cost/no-obligation in-home assessment, or to jump right in, roll our sleeves up, and help you navigate all the moving parts of broadening care needs.
